Count Down Letter for GUJARAT WBO CONVENTION - 2
I am extremely happy to inform you that WBO could achieve some progress in reaching Kerala and Tamilnadu Brahmans. Yes, we could not do much in reaching the brahmans residing in these two states in the past. Factually, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh are the lands for Vedic Schools and Vedic Education. Brahmans are still continuing with their traditions like maintaining vedic schools and educating children in Gurukuls, and surely there is no fund raising systems in these schools. The Masters are going for Upadanam - taking Bhiksha from a few houses every day and using the material for themselves and for the children in Gurukul. This kind of absolute traditional systems are still seen in these parts of the country, though similar system is existent in other parts of the country.
A Brahman Activist has come forward to shoulder the responsibility of taking the flag of WBO and for bringing unity in the community in Kerala State. Presumably, before the start of the convention in Gujarat, our Kerala leader is likely to announce his team as was done in Haryana. Let us welcome.
I believe that in a day or two we are likely to produce the list of our Gujarat State office bearers and district level office bearers. We are also eager to have the list from our president elect state - Chattisgarh which has a promising number of activists.
One unique book on Brahmans is getting ready which gives us a total picture of Brahmans and their active involvement in Independence Movement and community development actions and the book is ready in Telugu and it is getting translated into English.
ONE HUMBLE REQUEST : We desire to place all possible information globally with photographs and other information of our leaders during the last century. Therefore I appeal to you all to help me to get information known to each of you so that it can be edited and printed in the unique book.
